Bilateral Orchiectomy Procedure Video For those that have never seen the actual surgical procedure I have posted a video on my blog. The video is not of my own castration, although my procedure was virtually identical so I understand, as I was in la-la land when mine was done.

Re: Bilateral Orchiectomy Procedure Video A while back, our shepherd did the young lambs with his teeth. Come the think of it, I can't remember if he spat or swallowed Thank for the video; I don't remember mine either. It makes a clear explanation of how a simple castration is done by drs.

And amazingly little blood loss in this surgery. I ve watched a few videos of much less destructive vasectomies where the bleeding control was not done well, and there was blood everywhere.

The control of bleeding looks deceptively simple in this video in the hands of trained surgeons. And the suturing of the spermatic cord stumps was just kind of partially shown and then breezed over in this video.

Just in case anyone thinks a do it yourself castration is easy to do and bleeding is easy to control, don t. An artist can make painting a masterpiece look fast, simple, and appear easy too. I think its especially important for all of the people fantasising about castration to watch the real thing on videos like this one. To separate their fantasy from the actual reality of castration. I m guessing that most fantasy wanna bes will find the real surgery a big letdown.

Not nearly as exciting, long, complicated, scary, sexually fulfilling, or momentus as it would be in fantasy versions in people s imaginations. As its been said so many times before in past EA posts, if its the cutting that excites wanna bes, it will be a huge disappointment for them.

They should not get castrated for the surgery experience or excitement alone. For those who want to live without testicles, that life after gelding is the primary goal, not the surgery itself.

For those people most into the surgery itself, but who don t truly desire the lifelong eunuch life that necessarily comes afterwards, they should keep it a harmless fantasy of play acting it out but keep their balls to enjoy their fantasy countless more times in the future.

Thanks for a very educational and non sensational medical video that shows the reality of castration surgery. Excellent video posting. Many thanks to Seanthomas for publically posting this for everyone to see. I don't know the exact diameter but when I could feel my cord stumps I imagine the artery and vein were large enough that one mistake could cause you to bleed out really fast.

Then of course there is the element of sterility to consider. Boys and girls, as they say Don't try this at home!In China, castration included removal of the penis as well as the testicles.

Both organs were cut off with a knife at the same time. For this reason they had to sell to the local or royal court one of their children. To castrate a kid, the surgeon had to use a carpenter knife and follow a complex procedure in order to avoid infections. Usually they performed the operation during spring or early summer, avoiding hot and cold temperature, mosquitoes, flies, etc.

If the wannabe eunuch had any hesitations, the surgeon had to stop immediately. This obviously just in the case of voluntary eunuchs. If the candidate was instead volunteer, the surgical operation began.

male to eunuch surgery

To disinfect the wound, the assistant of the surgeon used a hot pepper soup. After disinfected the scalpel with fire, the surgeon performed the operation. For three days after the surgery the new eunuch was not allowed to drink water. Some parent decided his son had to be an eunuch since from his early age.

For this reason, from their infancy, the maid performed a sort of slow and constant surgery on the testicles of the child, three times a day, pinching them and slowly increasing the strength, day after day, gradually destroying his reproductive function.

I came across a web site for the Mexico Transgender Center that offers "Nullification Surgery" for male to nullo and female to nullo.

They claimed that Dr. Aguilar is the only surgeon in America who offers Nullification surgery. Any experiences or thoughts? This sounds too good be true: walk in as an intact man and walk out as a smooth nullo eunuch!

I personally know of 3 doctors in the US, by name, that do this now, and there is a 4th that did it recently, whose name escapes me. Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug. That's not easy, I know what I'm talking about, as I'm currently in that process of consultation with a therapist. And if your health care doesn't cover the surgery, you will have to pay it yourself. Two letters of confirmation is standard, yes and not so easy but possible. Health care coverage depends on the country.

Why Some Men Choose to Surgically Remove Their Penis

I feel - how to describe - transneutral for years Und Deutsch, ja. Leider ist es mit dem bisherigen Therapeuten in den letzten 4 Jahren nicht voran gegangen, weshalb ich nun einen anderen Therapeut aufsuche.

Re: Mexico Transgender Center: Male to Nullo Surgery Only what was on their website, which I found a forum on cosmetic sex changes ie no love canal on susans dot org.Photo by Andrey Pavlov via Stocksy. There are men who wish to become eunuchs in the classical definition.

For them, removing the entire penis and testicles can be a remarkably fulfilling, relieving experience, even though they may still identify as male and use male pronouns. In their online enclaves, such people sometimes identify as "eunuchs," "nullos," or "smoothies. Some of them journal their experiences in online forums, asking others around the world where they can go to have their penis and testicles totally removed, or plaintively debating historical research about the iconic eunuchs of China who inhabited the Forbidden City and served the Emperor with great influence and esteem.

Because of the scarcity of providers, the expense, and the taboo nature of the procedure, patients who seek penile amputation have few options. Men who are seeking to nullify their sex often go to great lengths to find someone who is willing to help them.

Curtis Craneone of the nation's leading experts on penises. We get a few requests a year, and I think it's a good service to provide to the community. Crane specializes in the treatment of transgender and gender nonconforming patients, providing everything from phalluses for female-to-male patients to vaginas for trans women. He is likely one of the only surgeons in the world who will provide nonbinary male patients with a full penectomy—and this, he says, is because of a social taboo and double standard in transgender medicine.

For example, Crane says that it is "well accepted" among surgeons who specialize in providing care to trans and gender nonconforming people that there is a subset of assigned-female-at-birth patients who "do not believe in a binary classification. People in this group commonly "want the absence of female characteristics, such as breasts"—and this procedure is generally accessible for them, even if they don't want to go on Hormone Replacement Therapy, because surgeons who perform trans operations recognize their need.

To me, it's a double standard to accept the gender fluid female, but not the gender fluid male. A study by Thomas W. Johnson and Michael S. Irwig explored "the hidden world of self-castration and testicular self-injury," shedding light on the methods that people seeking castration resort to when they don't have access to professional surgical care. Though Johnson and Irwig wrote exclusively on castration, and not penectomy, their analysis of medical data on eunuchs is relevant to the broader group of men who seek these procedures.

The researchers define eunuchs as "biological males who have undergone voluntary castration for reasons other than male-to-female transsexualism," explaining that the taboo nature of these procedures lead "eunuch—wannabes" to "resort to self castration, castration by non-medical professionals, or self-inflicted testicular damage via injections of toxic substances. Eunuchs are a secretive subculture.

Many eunuchs seem to identify as male, but others, as Crane indicated, find their identities to be less clearly defined. The study notes that "after castration, less than one-third of eunuchs continue to consider themselves as male, most consider themselves to be nether ale nor female, and a few identify themselves as female.

Of course, Crane wouldn't provide this treatment to just anyone. He follows a typical standard for patients seeking gender confirming surgeries, requiring two letters from psychiatric specialists who approve of the patient's desire, and need, to be castrated, to have their penis removed, or both. Crane says that, for some people, these treatments are truly medically necessary—which shouldn't be shocking if we can accept the medical necessity of other gender affirmative surgical procedures. Some healthy males voluntarily seek castration without a recognized medical need.

There are currently no standards of care for these individuals, which cause many of them to obtain surgery outside of a licensed medical setting. We seek to understand who performs these surgeries. This study aims to characterize individuals who perform or assist in genital ablations outside of the healthcare system.

A cross-sectional Internet survey posted on eunuch. Next we compared the cutters with the voluntary eunuchs. Self-reported questionnaires were used to collect demographic information, gender identity and presentation, selected childhood experiences, and history of aggressive behaviors, self-harming behaviors, and hospitalization.

This study may help identify individuals who are at risk of performing illegal castrations. That information may help healthcare providers protect individuals with extreme castration ideations from injuring themselves or others. Voluntary genital ablations: Contrasting the cutters and their clients. Sex Med ;— There are men who seek and obtain genital ablations outside proper medical facilities for reasons other than medical necessity, such as testicular or metastatic prostate cancer 1 — 5.

There are others who are driven to genital ablation from psychological distress and may have a diagnosis of xenomelia or Body Integrity Identity Disorder, which is not associated with a gender dysphoria 6 — 8. Some men have socially challenging paraphilic interests and seek castration as a means of libido control. There are also individuals who desire castration because they do not feel comfortable identifying as female or male and prefer a gender identity outside the gender binary currently recognized in the contemporary western world 19 — Individuals who wish to be emasculated but do not identify as female have few options for medical assistance.

As a result, these individuals are unable to find appropriate medical care and may seek services outside of the medical community for their genital surgeries [ 2314 ]. As part of our ongoing study of modern-day eunuchs in the western world, we have previously explored the motivation for, and consequences of, castration [ 121415 ].

In the present study, we attempt to characterize individuals who perform or assist in genital ablations that occur outside of the healthcare system. In the eunuch. Inwe posted a request for survey respondents on the eunuch. There were just over 3, respondents and close to individuals who reported having assisted in human castrations outside the medical framework. Among the other respondents, there were individuals who had already been either chemically or physically castrated, or who expressed an interest in the subject with or without any expressed desire to become castrated.

Although voluntary eunuchs have received some previous research attention, there are no studies that profile the unlicensed providers of human castration 1—3, Individuals, who perform surgeries without a license, put themselves at serious legal risk … in addition to putting their clients at great physical risk.

In striving to characterize the cutters, we hope to better inform healthcare providers about this population so that they can identify individuals attracted to the activity and intercede appropriately. In characterizing the cutters, we aim to inform healthcare providers of their existence. We wish to help profile individuals, who may be at high risk of illegal activities and physical injury to themselves and others.

In order to characterize the population, we define cutters as any respondents, castrated or not, who indicated that they had assisted in the castration of another person. We compared the cutters with other subgroups within our larger surveyed population. First, we compared them with noncutters in our larger population of online survey respondents. This included all individuals who had expressed an interest in castration independent of whether or not they have been chemically or physically castrated but who had not participated in the castration of others.

Next, we looked more extensively at the subpopulation of survey respondents who had been physically castrated i. As many of the cutters were themselves castrated, we divided this physically castrated group into eunuch cutters and eunuch noncutters for a third comparison. Illustration of subgroups used for each of our three statistical comparisons. The overall sample size of all comparisons, following removal of the biological females, underage and fraudulent responses is 2, All participants provided informed consent consistent with review board approval from Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Some members wrote favorable comments on the site after completing the survey, which aided recruitment. No compensation was provided for participation.

Participants were anonymous and were not required to answer all of the survey questions, resulting in slight differences in the number of responses to each question.Castration is the removal of male testes, resulting in sterility, decreased sexual desire and inhibition of secondary sex characteristics such as hair growth and deepening of the voice. Castration in humans is sometimes necessary for some cancer prevention or as a punishment or deterrent to sex crimes.

In the s some states considered mandatory castration for repeated sexual predators, either through surgery or chemicals. The idea was that child molesters would not continue their crimes if castrated. Counter arguments, though, state that not all sexual desire diminishes with castration, nor does it necessarily deter other criminal choices. Six states permit or require chemical castration for repeat sexual offenders.

Few other Western countries permit the procedure as a punitive effect. Other reasons for castration include the fact that it decreases blood flow and causes death of endothelial cells, which may reduce the chance of prostate cancer.

Removal of a cancerous testes is standard procedure to prevent the spread of testicular cancer.

Some ancient religious sects have also used castration as an indicator of faithfulness; and some men want to be castrated to affect their mood and mental state. Under medical supervision, anti-androgen drugs, such as cyproterone, are injected under a multi-week treatment. Androgens are hormones such as testosterone that develop and maintain masculine primary and secondary sexual characteristics.

With lower testosterone levels, most men will experience reduced sex drive, arousal and sexual thoughts. On sexual offenders, Depo-Provera, a progestin shot, is used. Chemical castration does not remove the testicles, and if the chemical treatment is discontinued, testosterone and sperm production may resume. In surgical castration, a surgeon makes an incision in the scrotum and pulls out the vas deferens duct until the testicle is completely exposed. The vas deferens is knotted and cut, then the testicle is removed.

The remaining vas deferens is placed back into the scrotum. Then the doctor stitches up the incision. The same procedure is repeated for the other testicle. Used often by ranchers, a burdizzo is a pliers-like device that crushes the vas deferens and arteries to the testicles. Once blood supply ends, the testicle begins to die.

Once dead, the testicle is absorbed into the body and the man is sterile. This process is not used medically in Western countries, but some men who've wished to castrate themselves have used this process. The risk is that if the vas deferns is not completely crushed, nerve damage is common. This is a very painful procedure; pain killers are required for one or more weeks.

Again, not used medically, banding places a very tight elastic band around the top of the scrotum and then the area under the band is cut off, including testicles and scrotum; the band encourages sealing of the wound.

This is a dangerous procedure; profuse bleeding can occur if the cutting is imprecise, requiring immediate emergency attention.

For men undergoing medical castration, a doctor will prescribe pain killers for surgical procedures and occasionally anti-nausea medications for chemical castration. Based in Houston, Bruce J.
